Rise Of the Elephant Kingdom Review
For all those who faithfully follow the musical voyage to the filter, their eighteenth announcement is another great album, this time signed by the producer that you are well known for his The Sleeper EP.
Abstract Butta Fingas returns to the scene with its first edition Mizar, accompanied by a long list of guests. Ekundayo, Tamara Blue, Tekesh, A-1, BC, Caveman, MC Vigo, El Sufi and multitalentiranata Shania D, helping once again to erase the genre boundaries and to confirm their status of highly specific producer.
In The Rise Of The Elephant Kingdom, he drives through the history of black music, jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop has put in a modern, electronic, and often emphasized "machine" context. All done with tremendous respect for history, but also with self-confidence characteristic of the most experienced musical veterans.
Moods of the album are changing constantly, and the audience to testify ochiglednite hits Cause'n'Effect, TSA, Tijuana Connection, a few musical passages pointimni (More, Booooom and The Love), but highly experimental studio masterpieces such as The Slump, The Underball Experience and Uberwonder Highway.
With all this, Abstract Butta Fingas not only justifies the expectations imposed by the previous edition, but also makes the necessary step forward, with the announcement that define his future career. He cement its status as one of the most exciting new producers of today. The album will appear May 17 on all relevant digital music services worldwide.

Thank You GoldSweatSF
My god, the content this crew brings and showcases is phenomenal! For those that don’t know, the 5Signs is a collective of beat makers, producers, MC’s, DJ’s, and taste makers that specializes in everything. Seriously, EVERYTHING. Experimental to commercial, broken beat to solid hip-hop beats, MPC Dance parties to 6 x 6 scratch routines. Holding down the City of Angels, GoldSweat has been a fan and friend of these guys for a long time. When GoldSweat moved from our apartment in the ‘loin to our new penthouse downtown, we featured their first podcast. Since, these guys have recorded 11! The only way to truly showcase their talent and taste, head over to their website. We feel that the timing is perfect! From the Bay to LA, the sun is shining. Let the 5Signs provide the sunscreen.

podCAST episodes 10 & 11
After a plesant winter break, the school of neck breakage is back in session. We wanted to do something special for episode 10 and the kick off to or new format. So 5signs amassed in volume in the secret HQ of the most mysterious of the 5signs crew; ACCRETE! EL SUFI was on location as well, long time friend and collaborator (the 6th sign) El Sufi freestyles and also ryhmes live while Accrette performs on the mpc200xl. We don't all get together very often so this was a really fun recording for us. We hope you have just as much fun listening.
For those of you sick of listening to us talking, and rambling over the 5signs podcast, episode 11 is for you. Recorded live off the decks at a rare 5signs San Deigo appearance, hosted by dj mawkus, former music director of famed san deigo college radio station KSDT. Mawkus jumps on the decks and drops some dancy shit, whilst NSOK, Foniks, ABF and alcendor play those neck breakers you've come to love. You can read a write up of the party here.
